NHS Wales is one of the leading European health communities in the use of Telemedicine to improve the provision of healthcare to patients in Wales. Telemedicine uses advanced information and computer technology to overcome restrictions on the care of patients when separated by distance from centres of excellence, consultants and teams of specialists.

MultiSense Communications works closely with the All Wales Telemedicine Implementation team who are overseeing
the introduction of the latest technology throughout Wales.
Through an agreement with the Welsh Assembly Government, MultiSense Communications and Computacenter are the authorised suppliers of a complete range of conferencing solutions for all aspects of healthcare throughout Wales –
from clinical to educational solutions, MDT meeting rooms
to operating theatres and postgraduate centres.

The agreement provides access to the best possible solutions at a cost agreed with the Welsh Assembly Government. Our conferencing solutions are the only ones fully approved for connection to the DAWN2 (Digital All Wales Network), and
are already in use in several trusts throughout Wales
