MultiSense Communications, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of medical conferencing solutions, is pleased to announce that it is Polycom’s UK Telemedicine Channel of the Year - 2005. The award was made by Glynn Jones, Polycom’s Regional Vice President Northern EMEA, during a recent Teleheath Awareness Briefing hosted by MultiSense at Polycom’s European Headquarters in Slough.
Presenting the award, Glynn Jones said: “I am delighted to give this award to MultiSense. The company has led the way in the healthcare sector over the past year. Telehealth and telemedicine is an exciting, rapidly expanding area and our partnership with MultiSense is a major contributing factor in our increasing market share.”
The award was received by Andrew Graley, Director of Healthcare, MultiSense Communications, who said: “We have developed a suite of medical conferencing solutions from cancer MDTs to A&E and special clinics which are now being installed throughout the UK. MultiSense has made a major investment in healthcare and this is now paying dividends. I am pleased to receive this award from Polycom, who support us fully in our endeavours.”
The Telehealth Awareness Briefing was a one day event for clinicians and specifiers within the NHS and private healthcare sector, attending in person and over video links. The day included presentations from clinicians describing their experience of using medical conferencing solutions as well as briefings on technological advances in healthcare.
